The first time I wrote about St. Louis Park's West End was when it first opened in 2009. A gourmet grocery store, a couple shops, a couple restaurants and a luxurious movie theater were about all that were there at that time. The West End has done a lot of growing up since then, and the January 2015 issue of Minnesota Monthly features it as one of Top Five Neighborhoods in the Metro Area. West End Boulevard is now lined with specialty shops and fine dining... and the complex now also includes a hotel and luxury apartments so you can … (2 comments)

We made several stops at The West End in St. Louis Park this week...an exciting new mixed use development that includes restaurants, movie theatres, shops and a grocery store. It's exciting to see this new complex opening in St. Louis Park after the last couple years of little new development. The top front page story in the StarTribune recently reported on the strongest jobs improvement since the recession began two years ago. Hopefully the opening of The West End is yet another sign that the economy is moving in the right direction. Our grandson calls CREATIVE KIDSTUFF "the birthday store".
