Mortgage rates for 30 years found the lowest in decades, and prices for 15 years, the loans fell to their lowest point in nearly 20 years. No, I don't mean the blues about the real estate market in Daytona Beach, but the great live music scene here in Daytona Beach.  We've long been famous for the great musicians who have roots in Daytona, like Stevie Ray Vaughn and the Allman Brothers, but the Daytona Beach Blues Society helps promote and showcase Blues music.
Thanks to fans and residents who support the music, the Society is thriving, and national touring bands and local musicians alike are welcome here in North Central Florida.  Founding President Jeff Fedor is a performing roots blues artist, and is also singer and songwriter.

As reported on CFNews13, 2 disaster recovery centers are now open in Volusia County.  Teams are walking the streets in some of the hardest hit areas to check on damages and get aid information to the victims.  In some of the areas, flood victims can use their cell phones to contact FEMA disaster assitance.
