During the course of real estate business yesterday, a conversation once again reminded me of a phenomenal program that is sponsored by the Texas Veterans Land Board. Texas Veterans are now able to orally record their own personal stories and experiences which are being transcribed and archived in the Office of Veterans Records at the Texas General Land Office. I stumbled upon this little gem one day when I was reading some updated content on the VLB website. From a very young age, real estate has always fascinated me. The character and diversity of homes and the allure of the hunt to find the perfect one has always been a welcome challenge. Just out of high school, I was barely 19 when I purchased my first home. My first real estate agent was Tami Thompson with RE/MAX out of Abilene, Texas.
