During the course of real estate business yesterday, a conversation once again reminded me of a phenomenal program that is sponsored by the Texas Veterans Land Board. Texas Veterans are now able to orally record their own personal stories and experiences which are being transcribed and archived in the Office of Veterans Records at the Texas General Land Office. I stumbled upon this little gem one day when I was reading some updated content on the VLB website. Around our home at this particular time of year, strange things happen that are completely unrelated to real estate. The TV remote malfunctions and will only work on the sports channels. My quiet and reserved husband brings out his alternate personality and yells at the television to encourage the players that he is "coaching" so ambitiously. Finally, our children end up dressed in one jersey or another and it better be a "dad" approved team they are parading around in. (Did I say Texans?)
