Wow! After all my years in real estate I have never seen a better time to buy a home. Not only are their low interest rates (yes, even with the rate slightly up) but there is an $8,000 stimulous package for Buyers to take advantage of. When I purchased my home in the late '80's the intrest rates were 18% and up. Most of my real esate career they hovered around 7 - 8 %.
