Just a quick note to let you all know that the home owners association at Twelve Oaks has an online newsletter called Twelve Oaks Times. This HOA could be a model for many of the other gated developments here in Shreveport. They are organized and active. The newsletter contains different categories such as: A picture of the home that has won the Garden of the Month award. A Family of the Month award. Notices of upcoming events going on for residents. Twelve Oaks Begun in 2005, this unique community in Shreveport, Louisiana is situated on 400 acres not far from the bustling shopping mecca along Youree Drive. Access to the rest of the city is easy via the Terry Bradshaw Passway. Twelve Oaks is comprised of four distinct "neighborhoods", each with a feel of its own. Middleton Place is the first section you get to after you pass through the gate. There are five streets with small to mid-size garden homes.
