It depends.In a new subdivision, the price per square foot reflects the builders' cost to buy land, build, and make a profit. The average and median price per square foot of the homes in the subdivision would be a quick way to judge their value in general. But the older the homes in a subdivision...
As everyone has heard by now, buying and selling homes is an emotional process.
