fha: New well requirements for FHA loans

FHA has issued new REQUIREMENTS for private wells. This is not a bank requirement, this is a requirement direct from FHA and is a big change. This is for FHA case numbers issued after September 14, 2015 – so likely affects any transactions you currently have in place. This is currently only for FHA loans.
New Construction Lead-Free piping Provide bacteriological test Connect to local water supply if available Well test must be performed and deliver a 5 GPM over at least a 4 hour period. Existing Construction Existing wells must deliver water flow of 3-5 GPM (1 comments)
