Lake Oconee is a great place to retire!. When people begin to compare retirement locations they consider many facets of the lifestyle including climate, medical services, recreation, cost of living, and proximity of friends and relatives. July 4th with Grandparents After researching general information about what constitutes a satisfactory retirement location, I have created my own list of Reasons to choose Lake Oconee as your retirement home. 1. Lake Oconee Harbor Club Great Buy Jim and I have a new listing in our neighborhood, Harbor Ridge in Harbor Club, so I am again looking for candidates to join our happy band of neighbors. Just as in my previous post about the house we have listed next door, I am enthusiastically wondering about who will be the next person to move into our perfect little street in the Harbor Club Golf Club in Greensboro, Georgia, at Lake Oconee.
