Lately, it seems in the Lake Oconee area Fall begins with offering respite to hurricane evacuees. We did not recognize the trend at first, but we would notice storm warnings from the Georgia and South Carolina coasts would lead to increased traffic, busy grocery stores, and fully booked hotels at Lake Oconee.

Wounded Warriors Play Golf at Harbor Club In honor of Armed Forces Day on Saturday May 19, 2012 a group of Wounded Warriors played golf at Harbor Club. The men's golf group and the ladies' golf group combined with the Wounded Warriors in a golf scramble at Harbor Club Golf Course. The goal was to entertain the representatives of our armed services in a game of golf, and to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.
