I don't know how other markets are doing, but here in the Triangle houses are not staying on the market long (the descent ones anyways). Of course we all have those clients that are convinced their house is worth much more than it is. I think this is a great graphic I found on HouseHunt.com to show those clients. We all want to make as much money as possible. But priced right, the house will not only sell faster, but also get the best price. Have you ever had to tell a seller over and over again about a problem, yet they refuse to fix it and can't figure out why their home won't sell? I have had clients in the past that I've told we need to repaint, but they refuse and the house has taken twice as long to sell. Or my favorite is clients with cats and the whole house smells like a litter box, but the clients don't understand the problem. This is a great image with interesting statistics to show clients who don't understand why their home won't sell!

This is really interesting to me. I think I agree with most of it, but $1000 a year on transportation? I spend $100 a week on gas alone! I would love to meet the agents that work less than 30 hours a week and ask how they do it, and make a living! But I can agree my Iphone is my most important assistant!
