Activity increased in the West and South but declined in the Midwest and Northeast; all regions show strong double-digit gains from a year ago. Everyone says Newport Coast is over Priced but if you read the news statement below you will see that there is no mention of any cities that are in California. Prices have come down and are at a bottomed out level. It is a great time to buy. Banks see that short sales are the way to go and are taking back less homes. Less REO's, They are starting to do more shorts, and negotiating the present loan with a % sof the profits from future sales as a reward for working with the home owner.
