One of my favorite times of the year is when the State and County Fairs come to town! The cooler temperatures, smell of Elephant Ears and listening to children squealing on the rides, are just a part of my excitement. This year, the Georgia-Carolina State Fair will be held from October 18th to 27th. Along with the carnival rides and petting zoo, there will be boxing exhibitions, clown shows and various musical entertainment.
