One of the most popular Augusta GA area attractions for Autumn is the Steeds Dairy Farm. Every year from mid-September to November, children of all ages enjoy the Corn Maze, Petting Zoo, Zip Line and more. Located in Grovetown, this real working dairy has been in existence since 1946 and is family owned to this day. The farm has been through three different phases of development to include the community. Phase One is the 5 acre Corn Maze that allows patrons to find their way in, around and out the other side. Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year. The world comes together to celebrate the most important birthday in history. Augusta GA has always made it possible for their residents and visitors alike to take part in a variety of events in honor of this wondrous holiday. This year, Columbia County hosted a Snow Festival at Evans Towne Center Park to benefit the Golden Harvest Food bank. It included live Christmas music, a Winter Wonderland, and children's play area.
