Aloha, The number of sales for Nov 13 ended up the same as Nov 12, posting 78 sales for the month. Although sales didn’t surpass last Nov, year to date statistically we are 15% ahead of Nov 12 with 913 total this Nov vrs 797 from this time last Nov. This is the first time in the last six years that the numbers have been in the “9’s.” The low year to date was Nov 09 with 441 sales. Even though there were only 78 sales this Nov, it is much better than the 29 sales (can you believe that number?) … (2 comments)

Aloha, This past month just slightly outperformed Oct 12 with a 5.48% increase in sales, going from 73 last year to 77 this Oct. The changes in the properties sold is interesting: last Oct there were 39 residential sales Island wide compared to 29 this Oct; only 5 land sales last Oct with a huge 200% increase to 15 sales this Oct. Condos stayed fairly steady with 29 sales last Oct compared to 33 this past month. Sep 2013 outperformed last Sep by 25%, with an increase of 16 sales from 65 to 81. This is the highest number of sales in Sep since 08 which only had 42 sales. Even that was better than Sep 09 with a paltry 39 sales. It’s been improving since that time with 49 sales in Sep 10 and 55 sales in Sep 11. Year to date we are ahead by 107 sales or 17%, up from 646 this time last year to 753 this year. This is the first time the numbers have reached into the “7’s” since 08 which had … (0 comments)

Aloha, Jan 13 got off to a bit of a slow start with only 48 sales, which is a 24% decrease from Jan 12 with 63. The only Jan with fewer sales in the last 6 years was Jan 09 with a mere 20. Of these 48 sales, 28 were residential, 5 land, 1 commercial and 14 were condos. The Kawaihau zone had the greatest number of residential sales at 12, followed by 6 in the Koloa zone, 5 in Hanalei zone, 4 in Lihue and 1 for Waimea.
