I first came up with this slogan because it described how this Texas gal came to live in Colorado. First, I got to SEE Colorado in pictures. I even drove through it once. I thought Colorado was pretty but there are a lot of really pretty places in the world.
I then had the opportunity to EXPERIENCE Colorado Springs. After jogging through the Garden of the God’s, climbing the Incline and exploring Manitou Springs and downtown Colorado Springs, I was hooked. I noticed that there were also a lot of horse (26 comments)

It has been said that "Teller County IS Colorado." Located just west of Colorado Springs, Teller County is a gorgeous area located at the base of Pikes Peak. There are currently 27 horse properties for sale in Teller County. These homes are all listed in the Pikes Peak Regional MLS. For these properties to have made my list, they had to have a barn or stable. I consider properties that do not have barns or stables to be "potential" horse properties. Woodland Park is 18 miles west of Colorado Springs. It is the largest city in Teller County. Divide is (4 comments)
Turn back the clock to the late 1800’s. The young United States was full of opportunity, heart ache and tears. Railroads, cattle and gold all played key roles in the story. In Colorado, gold was discovered in the mountains just to the west of Colorado Springs. During the peak of the gold rush, there were over 500 mines in the area which is referred to as the Cripple Creek Victor Mining District. Gold made millionaires of a few men. According to Wikipedia, a downtown is defined as a city's core or it's central business district. Downtown Colorado Springs can be described as "the city’s entertainment mecca, cultural common, hub of government and center of commerce—a diverse, vibrant destination." The downtown area is just one part of Colorado Springs. Victor, on the other hand, is an example of a downtown that is still THE business district. What do you think of when you think of a downtown?
