  Printers are getting faster and more functionalities every year. The question is are they build better? Back in the days (circa 1980s) the dot matrix printers would last 5, 10, or even more than 15 years.

  I remember the good old days when there were the daisy wheel printers that have a metal letter for every character and took forever to print out a sheet of paper. The dot matrix printers came next where it could print out paragraphs or even a page at a time, but the letters looks all the same boxiness.  Today no matter what printer we choose at our local Staples, Office Depot, or local computer store, our regular options comes down to an Inkjet or Laser printer.
