warranty: Are you aware of your printer's warranty?

Personally I am not the type of consumer that like to register my electronics and software unless I need to in order to "activate" the software. So it comes to no surprise that I never registered the 20 or so printers I used at home in the last 15 years. Each year I would wait toward "Black Friday", which is usually the day after Thanksgiving to go to stores like Fry's, Office Depot, Staples, and get "disposable printers", where they cost less than $20 or even free. Song San has been in the Technology industry for over 15 years dealing with many aspects of technology including desktops, servers, web design, web programming, database, and management. Song worked for and consulted for a long list of startups, multi-million, and multi-billion dollar companies including Pom Wonderful, Circor Aerospace, Suncal, and Fox Interactive.
