What Questions should you ask at an open house?
In our day and age, going to open houses has lost its popularity among homebuyers.  Today, 90% of buyers begin their home search online.  It is no longer a primary tool for home buyers or Realtors, but it is still a wonderful way to get a feel for the area you are looking at moving to.  To get the most out of your open house experiences, ask these important questions, and even take notes if you need to!
1.     How long has the home been on the market?
2.     Have there … (1 comments)

buyers agent: Song Real Estate's fire safety tips - 03/06/14 10:06 AM
Every family, at some point, must consider the horrible possibility of having a house fire.  More than 3,400 Americans die each year in fires, and approximately 17,500 are injured, even though the majority house fires can be prevented. It is extremely important that everyone in your family knows what to do in case of a fire, and that your home has all of the necessary fire-prevention devices. Common sense is the most important factor in preventing house fires. These ideas seem strait forward and simple, but actually following-through on them is anything but!  Here are some of Song Real Estate’s fire … (1 comments)

There are many important things for growing families to consider when moving into a new home. Every home buyer has a ton of details to worry about, but families have some very specific features to keep an eye out for during the home search.  It can be hard to remember all of the little things when it comes to what you should look for in a new town or neighborhood, so it is critical that you and your family take the time to get to know the city you are moving to.

buyers agent: Flash Light Tours in October- Eugene, OR - 09/23/12 01:59 PM
Flash Light Tours in October- Eugene, OR
I have notice the days getting shorter these last few weeks and the leaves on the trees beginning to show signs of fall.  As a Buyers Agent I tend to find myself busy later in the days helping buyers.  It seems that often, those who can afford homes have jobs and get off work after 5:00pm.  Although, I try to avoid showing homes in the evening it sometimes happens and is often out of my control.  I try to have fun with my clients and joke about our "flash light tours".
