Who knew that becoming a member back in January 2009 would lead to posting, blogging, sharing and learning, still today? Though many professionals have long since moved away from this forum, the heart of ActiveRain membership continues to beat strong.
It was difficult going through several ownership cycles and then recently as well, with all the growing pains to get ActiveRain back up and running smoothly again. Yet, here we are, weathering through it! (1.) Thank you Ben Kinney for staying the course.
ActiveRain has been an almost daily business regimen for this real estate agent. Seems like only a few years ago that I wrote the first (12 comments)
As soon as this post goes live, my total points will be just past the 2MIL mark here in the Rain. Joining back in February 2009, I was shy at first to write and then realized that I had a voice. It has been an almost daily routine.
My blog is all about southern Utah, the local real estate market and everyday life as a REALTOR, wife, mother, sister, Gma, home gardener, community leader-follower, volunteer, mentor, inspiration seeker, rainbow chaser!
So far here in the Rain: I have written over 3,630 posts Am #1 in Washington County, Utah #1 in Saint George,Utah (26 comments)
Some of you know it is encouraged to breathe new life into some older posts that are still relevant. The message may stand on its own merit, can be seen with 'new' eyes and again, be appreciated.
Most people who know me understand that part of my purpose here is to learn, interact, teach and be a cheerleader of sorts. And if we are all successful, it benefits everyone in the industry.
A WIN-WIN you might say.
There is no right way or wrong way to relay a message here in the Rain. So, if you see a reminder of a long ago post and find value, great! If not, scroll (15 comments)
I joined AR back in January 2009, writing my first post The Path of Leased Resistance. It spoke about a renter who chased us down the street to inform me he was refusing to allow agents to access the property while he lived there. What an experience! I had 5 responses, became hooked and then began an almost daily post about southern Utah, the local real estate market and everyday life!
So far: I have written over 3,111 posts Am #1 in Washington County, Utah #1 in Saint George,Utah #1 in Utah after starting #1300+ Have had 3,086,054 viewsReceived 154 featured posts Still having FUN after all these years and appreciate the opportunities (10 comments)
For March's Cloudburst of You, part of the instructions stated: Find a Rainer whose name starts with the first letter of your last name and call them. (Rainers love getting calls from other members and great relationships come to last this way). I called and had a most uplifting conversation today with fellow real estate agent and ActiveRainer Patricia Kennedy from Evers & Company Real Estate, Inc. in Washington D. C.
First of all , I told her that I admired her, which is the honest truth and that I was also fulfilling part of the requirement for March's Cloudburst of You (40 comments)
