Leave no husbands, wives or partners behind! A woman called, wanting to see some properties, she also asked that I bring over buyer paperwork to sign. Showing up at the house a little early, her husband (HUSBAND?!) was there...she failed to disclose that she was married. Besides, he knew nothing about her plans and was extremely unhappy!  He was supposed to be on the golf course by that time but was putting away the gardening tools when I arrived. Can you just imagine the lively conversation between them after I jumped in the car and drove down the road?!

Netting an answer...
 
A couple comes through the door of the Open House Event, disclosing they have an agent. During the conversation with the listing agent, they:
create several scenarios discuss closing costs and fees then ask what price would the seller take  
There is only one way to answer. “Let's get an offer written and find out.” 
 
The key word is WRITTEN. 
 
Only until a written offer is placed in front of them, may the sellers choose to accept, counter or reject. Fishing for information lacks any kind of commitment but serious buyers will put it in writing, netting an answer!
