Does size REALLY matter in real estate?

Many top producing, smaller real estate offices reside in the St. George, Utah area. Compared to the big box brands, they are described as boutique offices or mini brokerages and appears to be a growing trend.

Some advantages to consider:
Less risks vs rewards Lower operating costs More financially lucrative  These are all advantageous reasons to break away from those models that attract large numbers of real estate agents.

Powerful results can happen when experienced agents come on board, a committed, dependable broker ensures compliance and a dedicated office staff is versed in policies and procedures.

5 Steps For Continued Real Estate Success

Choose to be intentionally present, every single time, when conducting business with clients. Shut off the phone, give them your sole, undivided attention, they deserve that and do take notice of your actions.

1. ADVISE WISELY. Use realtime statistics when delivering information. Be clear and concise without adding emotion, buyers and sellers may already be feeling some of that on their own. Don’t add to it.

2. JUST LISTEN. Speaking over or cutting another’s conversation off to interject accomplishes nothing. There is an art to listening and if you really want to connect with another human being, … (33 comments)

commitment and dedication: You Must Do-The-Work! - 08/31/18 06:34 AM
You Must Do-The-Work!

Planting fruits and vegetables yearly, knowing what to plant, where to locate and when to take advantage of weather patterns to ensure proper development is at the heart of the growing season.

There is nothing easy about maintaining a home garden, you must:

Get down on the knees almost daily to pull invasive weeds that creep in and rid other pests so that intended plant material will thrive.
Fertilize to encourage lush foliage that acts as cover for the tender blooms and shoots that will eventually mature into food on our table.
Work alongside nature's amazing creatures such as bumble and honey bees, ladybugs, butterflies, praying mantis, garden … (28 comments)

Move along. NOTHING to see here.

See? Told you so!

May you always be curious. Walt Disney once said, We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

It takes work, a sincere commitment and tenacity to be successful in anything worthwhile. So, where do we go from here? Onward and upward of course!

This is it! YOU make the choice of how it goes.
I love the real estate industry and appreciate the work that goes into helping clients achieve their dreams. During a conversation with an agent who has been in business for just over a year, he told me it has been a difficult series of ups and downs, that it was much harder than he thought prior to making the commitment.

Our oldest son joined the Navy just over a year … (15 comments)
