Empty Promises Taste Salty

Prior to the first time clients signed real estate documents, it was ingrained to provide the best service possible. That still stands today. When telling them I am going to do something, it is done!

Getting to the task quickly is most appreciated, especially when timelines become tight with deadlines straight ahead. If something temporarily gets in the way, communicate that with the client.

Why is it so hard for some to follow through?

It often leads to niggling doubt, the inevitable breakdown of business (and personal) relationships, creating troubles down the road. This can be prevented with sincere effort to get … (56 comments)

dependable agent for life: A One and Done'r. - 06/10/22 12:44 PM
A One and Done'r.

Back in the last upmarket cycle, it seemed agents had more business than they could handle. One person, in particular was very successful, closing transactions every week, quickly becoming a top producer.

He thought it unnecessary to remain in contact with past clients due to the high volume of buyers and sellers. As the market began to slow, so did the amount of people calling and coming through the door.

Industry Loyalty: What does that mean?

Throughout my adult life, being known as the 'captain of a ship' has always been a compliment, especially by people who understand the meaning of that phrase.

Even through rough times, I am dependable, happy to oblige and willing to lend a helping hand or provide a shoulder to cry on, though it's not always reciprocated.

That is unimportant compared to when someone breaks the relationship by looking outside for services that were promised. It stings when someone deviates.

If I commit myself to a client, it’s for life, unless they decide otherwise. Some do, that is their choice … (22 comments)

dependable agent for life: Painting a True Picture - 04/20/21 12:37 PM
Painting a True Picture

Nature maintains the highest level of dependability daily, no hidden agenda's to cloud the purpose of performing its duties. Pure instinct comes to the forefront when it comes to achieving set goals.

Real Estate professionals rely on the latest market data to inform potential buyers and sellers. This encourages solid decisions based on sales analyses taken from the local Multiple Listing Service.

Like nature, no manipulative methods, huffing or puffing necessary. Practicing dependability through excellent work ethics creates trust relationships with clients and will motivate any business forward.

Sincere efforts show in true colors when they come shining through and what … (25 comments)
