excellent work ethics: Purposeful Peace of Mind for Success - 06/20/21 05:46 PM
Purposeful Peace of Mind for Success

Longevity in the real estate industry depends on achieving client sales goals. Three things result from being diligent, especially when putting others wants and needs first.

Purpose - Our industry is geared toward helping people buy or sell property and is most rewarding to help someone's dreams come true! A long standing partnership relies on dependability to achieve favorable outcomes.

Peace of Mind - A strong work ethic often encourages a secure sense of happiness. Tremendous satisfaction comes from knowing that buyers and sellers appreciate the efforts put forth so they may confidently transition.

Success - The spirit … (19 comments)

excellent work ethics: Bee Your Very Best Self. - 10/19/18 03:23 PM
Bee Your Very Best Self.

While the Hollyhocks were gently swaying in a slight breeze this morning, they captured more than just my attention. A honey bee was collecting pollen to take back to the hive for future use.

The worker bee’s ethic is most purposeful and pure with zero ulterior motives. No distractions to deter from the intended job, only a strong drive to meet or exceed expected daily goals set forth.

Be more like the bee, and:
Uphold obligations. Show self-motivation. Respect other's practices. Maintain cooperation at all times. Ensure good communication among peers.
Push yourself to a higher degree like the bee … (24 comments)

excellent work ethics: Avoid getting Bee-hind! - 05/16/18 07:22 AM
Avoid getting Bee-hind!

Spring has arrived in St. George, Utah! As I was admiring these tiny pink flowers, a Honeybee came floating by, touching down and dancing among them all. It reminded me of how others rely on successsul outcomes.

A Honeybee's determined work ethic ensures future days. Clean air, sunny days and mild temperatures play a large part, though when there is a goal to be met, no excuses are legitimate enough to prevent the intended purpose.

No room for failure when so many are dependent!

Who's gonna fill your shoes?

~ Little Kenslee Mae - our 7-month old Gbaby's feet ~

As time continues to march on despite any efforts to slow it down, this thought comes to mind. Will there be someone to take over business, to ensure that it runs smoothly in the future?

Could it be a son? Daughter? Nephew? Grandchild? Fellow agent?

Many agents come from a long line of industry professionals, where others, like me, are first generation real estater's. My oldest son has shown some interest in joining the ranks of sales people.

Will that person show a sincere commitment with a desire to serve clients to the fullest, through self-motivation? … (16 comments)

excellent work ethics: A Promise to Perform. - 01/09/18 03:30 PM
A Promise to Perform.

Nature methodically prepares for survival. All processes and procedures sincerely met with utmost progression. No dallying or non-performance, only sincere participation in reaching and achieving goals.

From emerging pips to tender seedlings that bode well under optimum conditions, to fruition through maturation. In time, the flower withers, exposing new seeds, eager to begin yet another cycle.

There is much we can learn and implement into our own daily lives by observing nature's promise to perform. Happy sales all!

Five Little Piggies - With a Twist!

This little piggy went to the office. A solid work ethic meant getting up, dressing up and showing up to get the days To-Do List completed. Always self-motivated, moving forward to successfully accomplish the clients set goals!    This little piggy liked to 'wing it' instead of planning ahead. Sleeping in and wearing pajama's at home all day, anticipating the phone to ring was the only commitment. It never rang so became the habit of asking to borrow money from the other piggies!      This little piggy had a remarkable marketing and advertising business plan. She was very successful, due to following up and through for business sake! She loved to cook, taking … (40 comments)

MAKE a WISH Before You BLOW IT!

Starting out a new career in the real estate industry is often met with excitement and high expectations. This is a business that depends on creating trust relationships to build upon for success.

The following are some things that have worked for me during the many years in the business:

Be sure to report facts based on reliable information. Refrain from haphazardly throwing information out there just to capture attention, otherwise you may lose integrity with consumers.
Practice only within the scope of the industry in which you reside. Avoid giving mortgage, tax or legal advice unless licensed as a mortgage professional, accountant or attorney.
Arrive on … (4 comments)

Carrying the load of another...

A buyer's agent and listing agent know full well their responsibilities when it comes to a real estate sales transaction. Here is my take on the process.

A buyer's agent guides and assists clients through the process and must have a vast knowledge of neighborhoods, price trends, zoning, real estate law and negotiation, including:
Targeting wants and needs Setting appointments for showings Negotiating price, time-lines and inclusions Staying in communication with lender (if getting a mortgage) Writing an offer based on terms and conditions Ensuring the inspection is completed and delivered Meeting all deadlines, taking care of impediments along the way
A listing agent represents … (6 comments)

Be still, my bleeding hearts!

Following a bumble bee, with camera in hand, to get a clear shot of him fastidiously flitting from bloom to bloom, he pays no mind to outside interests. Clearly, his work ethic is defined.

He follows up and follows through with the 'business first' approach, much like a focused professional. No luxury in taking time off to rest and relax, then re-group and back to work.

His instinct tells him, the time is now to get it done, no time for dawdling! I do applaud the sincere effort as he accomplishes the day's tasks.              ...Signed, A Secret Admirer

excellent work ethics: I mustache you a question... - 06/29/13 01:46 AM

I mustache you a question...

Are you in tune with the industry in which you serve? If you hesitate when answering, it may determine whether or not you are truly committed and may eventually determine your outcome.

To be successful, it is imperative to:
Maintain consistency Continue your education Meet every obligation to clients Be passionate about the industry Keep up with the latest trends Make those phone calls and return them as well Create new relationships while nurturing past clients
We can learn from successful people who believe in themselves by creating an effective business plan that creates momentum by pushing forward, utilizing proven methods with … (14 comments)

You too can own this sprawling 10,000 square foot custom mini-mansion for a mere $6 million dollars complete with it's own sports car, a brand spanking new Ferrari to park in the 12-car garage! Vroom-vroom!
Remember those days?
I remember them well and while they were pretty exciting for the real estate industry, they were also ultra-extravagant sales endeavors. Not sure if the owner today would offer such a high ticket item in order to entice buyers to make a commitment. A well thought out marketing and advertising plan that includes realistic pricing, professional photography … (15 comments)
