Shore Wish I Could Catch a Prize! A day trip to a local southern Utah lake or reservoir to cast a line and catch some fish is so satisfying. Calm, smooth as glass water, lapping gently along the bank, anchored boats afloat, anticipating hauling in a limit.
The giggles and excited cries of children when catching fish, no matter the size, brings back memories and is still thrilling to hear. We will now teach the next generation of fishing enthusiasts, our grandchildren.

As avid fisherpeople, we are often in the middle of the lake at the first sign of daylight. One morning while baiting and casting, the boat sprung a leak. Quick thinking kept it from sinking! Taking a tube of super glue used for making lures, I cut the flap off my leather purse, squeezed some glue on it, placed it over the hole. It instantly sealed and we kept right on fishing.

When was the last time your mouth dropped open because you witnessed something spectacular? No special effects. Flashing lights. Or themed music. Just pure nature taking hold? For my husband and I, that would be yesterday. We met the greatest of fishermen yesterday at Panguitch Lake, the Bald Eagle. Soaring high overhead, it took him less than 2 minutes to achieve the goal, due to his honed eyesight, keen ability to focus and efficiency.
