Did you sing M-I-C-K-E-Y M-A-T-E-R? I did!
 
As the last of the fruits and vegetables are harvested from the back yard garden, I noticed a phenomenon that happens occasionally with nature. We had a trifecta tomato, three orbs formed together on one vine.
 
I was delighted that it looked similar to Mickey Mouse's head and ears and quickly took a photo while singing...

Nerdin Gardens: The Sunkissed Colors of Summer
 
Vibrant reds, vivid and dark greens, electric yellows, bright oranges plus multi-hues dot the landscape in our back yard garden as nature encourages a resounding end result.
 
Stuffed green peppers are on the menu for dinner and will please the palette once more. Ingredients taken from raised beds adds to the freshest of flavors from garden to table.
 
Our consistent methods are a labor of love and show appreciation for the earth's gifts that are bestowed upon us year after year as successful garden producers.

A little lady dressed in red

has landed in the flower bed.
  
I spotted her in the out-of-doors
while going about the daily chores.
 
She intently searches the flora for pests
ridding them all despite their tiny protests.

A productive back yard garden depends on a harmonious, natural environment because we do not use harmful chemicals. Remaining in business also means weeding out what doesn't work while implementing successful methods.

Be still, my bleeding hearts! Following a bumble bee, with camera in hand, to get a clear shot when fastidiously flitting from bloom to bloom, he pays no mind to outside interests. The work ethic is clearly defined.
 
He follows up and through, much like a seasoned professional with a 'business first' approach, intentional and designed to achieve the goals set forth. No time for resting or relaxing for this chubbee bumbler.
 
Instinct tells him, the time is now to get it done! I do applaud the sincere effort as he goes about accomplishing the day's tasks.
