Extreme frequency. 
 
 
The past week has been quite the adventure with little Rugerman visiting our household. Vivid, imagination-fused stories at bedtime, lively inquisitiveness, his childish unbridled laughter, sea monster conversations, building projects with Popop, quick visit to Salty Fins a saltwater fish store, lizard chasing in the back yard garden, a trip to Judd's to pick out his favorite candy, crayon colorings, pencil drawings of make-believe creatures plus many trips to the fridge for treats especially for him. Repeat...
 
 
 
Tomorrow, I will take him home and we will return to a quieter atmosphere until little Kenslee Mae, Peanut and her mom and dad make their home here in May. Oh, my heart!

In search of pirates on the high seas...!
 
 
Oh, to have the imagination of a 3-year old again.
 
Early Saturday morning Popop, Ruger and I woke at 4:30 am ready for the day's adventure at Panguitch Lake.  We arrived at 7:30, launched in calm waters, setting out to catch a few fish. And we did!
 
Before leaving, Captain Ruger and First Mate Popop took a brisk spin, slicing through the high seas in search of pirates. Though we caught sight of a pirate's boat, no one was aboard.
 
Cannon fire was unnecessary at that point, so we hooked up, heading toward home. Picking fresh strawberries from the patch in Nerdin … (8 comments)

When my grandboy is near, abundant smiles and delightful laughter soon follow. My mood suddenly takes an upturn along with my whole face! No stress, no deadlines, no phone calls, just the two of us.
 
Happiness is contagious and allows us to be present in the moment. Try it, you'll like it, take it from this adoring Gma!

My blog disappeared and created 'post trauma vision syndrome'.
 
It's true, I just can't see re-writing it and posting again today! The blog went *POOF!* right after sending it live. Anyone else have a problem posting this morning? It was a FUN blog about the first sleepover with our 14-month old Grandson, Little Ruger.
 
So instead of trying again, you can find me relaxing around the pool today mainly because I am unable to fit in the pool...Happy Sunday all!
