Because Wanda Can!
Integrity plays a large part in how my business is conducted. When taking on clients, care is also at the top of the list. A fellow agent once told me that I care too much and would never make it in this industry.
Guess I proved him wrong!
A broker once said, "You aren't selling you, you're selling homes." True, but in order to attain new business, you must prove a higher level of competency and adequately sell your services to gain clientele.

After successfully closing and recording, the sellers are able to move on and buyers to move in. Was honored to work with the sole owners of the home, who my husband and I have known for more than 20 years.
Not often is a property as well-maintained or cared for as this one, which made it easy to show and attract feet through the door. The process from start to finish further solidified our long-standing relationship!

Don't leave me hanging now!
Trust partnerships in business means consistent good communication, relaying necessary information, ensuring goals are adequately met. In return, everyone gains professional service with a sincere commitment.
Leave doubt and relationships suffer. When teaming up with others in business, everyone depends on the other to adequately fulfill their role. The main focus is achieving the goals set forth. If a team member becomes self-centered, veering off on their own, it can leave everyone else hanging.

STOP Running with Scissors!
My mother would slow us down in a hurry by saying that. It worked. She also taught us the importance of taking the time to do chores right, whether doing laundry, especially folding clothes neatly then putting them away or when washing dishes by hand, getting everything squeaky clean.
Anything less than set expectations didn't quite muster, she'd learn ya, durn ya! Her teachings continue to play a part in actions taken on behalf of people who depend on the expertise and local knowledge necessary to achieve their home goals. Nothing less will do for me either, with clients.

Music to my ears from a long-time past client who has referred my services to family members and friends. No prompting necessary, just a sincere statement made during a recent face-to-face conversation.
Maintaining personal and professional relationships means a genuine effort must be made to stay front of them. Monthly newsletters, quarterly mailings, an invitation to a favorite, local event are good, soft touches.
This particular client told me when first meeting, that he did not trust any real estate agents due to a past negative experience. I became determined to change his mind. We started looking for homes and finally found one … (5 comments)
