When we were in Honolulu, Hawaii, visiting the Pearl Harbor and USS Arizona memorial was high on the list. Upon entering the room, the solemn respect for those lives lost was evident. As the video recounting the tragedy began to play, silent tears rolled down my face for each and every person who perished that day.
Let us gives thanks to our military personnel who step up every day despite any and all conditions here and across the world to protect our interests and keep us safe from harm. God bless them all!
Veterans, especially those who are disabled, need resources for improving day to day life. The Property Tax Exemption is one way to ease the financial strain for many of them. For six years now, legislative efforts to eliminate property tax liability for disabled veterans has been in play. More than half of the states in the U.S. offer some sort of exemption.
In my opinion, every state should offer the Property Tax Exemption.

The sacrifices military men and women endure are clearly evident. Some have perished in the name of freedom or while protecting America's interests and some are often separated from family and friends for lengthy periods of time, distanced from everything they know.
