A ‘no compete’ referral? This is the second time to be presented with this offer in my career. The opportunity to meet with potential sellers without interviewing other real estate agents to list a home. We discussed wants and needs and then familiarized ourselves with each other. Social media fails... Becoming friends with some buyers and sellers is a smooth transition from the client - agent business relationship to a more relaxed environment. It becomes easier when finding common interests such as: Gardening, fishing, sports, family, pets, volunteer efforts, hiking, biking, golfing etc. Allowing people into a personal space takes sincere trust and much thought.
