While some breezed through it, like 'business as usual', many fell into depression, were isolated and some people's health failed. 2021 has presented a new outlook for all. Life events lead to places uncharted. We never know where to seek comfort when the heart or mind is stressed beyond physical confines.

Mother Nature leaves a sustaining mark on yet another creation, nourishing the plant's core, ensuring a mature bloom. Without sunlight and adequate water, the plant withers and dies, ending its journey to fruition.
This is similar to us humans. For good health, we must also remember to feed our minds and bodies in order to flourish. Your mind is a garden and your thoughts are seeds. You can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.

Faith is knowing the storm will pass.
When life events become challenging, the inner cheerleader encourages a look toward the skies for inspiration. Head up, mind up, helps alleviate some of the lows that come from disappointments, struggles, adversity.
Adapting to situations as they present creates a more determined direction. Holding tight until everything rights itself, once again, as the dark storm passes, allowing in the light. Now, that's faith, in knowing!

I have been known to ASK FOR IT!
A listing was about to expire and with recent activity, it became necessary to ask for an extension. So I did. The home can be sold with the right buyer crossing the threshold with all parties rewarded with a positive outcome.
By asking for business opportunities, you can:
Turn problems into Possible solutions. Remain Accountable for business results. Create Attainable short-term and long term goals. Surround yourself with Capable, positive people. Become Available to clients and potential business.

GROWTH, from a gardener's perspective.
When recovering at home while sick, I went online quite a bit to gain outside news and information. The negativity and hate brought on by erroneous news reports and the media's maligning agenda was palpable, not to mention, the hate-filled responses and push back by people.
Good thing to see through the guise, some are unable. I was so happy to get well again and back to the office! Like-minded people tend to attract each other. Glad to know that I have the choice to align myself with upbeat, honest, sincere people. It is definitely good for growth!

Growth comes when stretched beyond reasonable limits. Remaining genuine is a gift given to ourselves and others. Sloughing off the small, niggling minutiae allows movement with a clearer direction.

As business people we must be respectful of peers, fellow agents and clients. When others cross the line of professionalism, let it be them. It's not worth risking all the hard work that has been done prior to getting here.

If not, then...
Some mornings, I have to work at finding desired motivation and have even 'faked it until I felt it' in an attempt to pull my spirits and thoughts up to an acceptable level before setting out.
Though it feels contrived at the start, I stand up, stretch, look up and smile to help gain a better frame of mind to do something more positive. It reroutes my attention to a better direction.

Do you know somone who 'has it all' but every conversation or meeting is negative and downcast? As an objective onlooker, it would appear that happiness would result over good health, a stellar career, financial security, strong faith, intact marriage. Not necessarily so!
