Speechless Sunday (almost!): Duck...duck...
Day dreamer with eyes turned toward the southern Utah sky, I am reminded of a childhood game that we played in elementary school. Everyone sat in a circle with their legs crossed and one person would get up and begin with saying
DUCK
while tapping someone's head...then
DUCK
again while walking around...and then say
GOOSE!
The person chosen at that point would be chased...while continuing around the circle, trying to sit down in the open spot before getting tagged and the game continues on!

As the sun peeks over the horizon, the day shows promise. The 22nd Annual St. George Area Parade of Homes is in full swing as onlookers anticipate walking through 28 beautiful custom homes built especially for the occasion.
My clients and I will touring homes as well, looking for one that will serve them well for many years to come. We may catch part of the 22nd Annual St. George Area Parade of Homes tomorrow if time permits.

There has been some discussion regarding out-of-area agents bringing clients down to southern Utah to purchase instead of referring them to local agents. Some local REALTORS disagree with this practice and may be reluctant to show their listings.
After listening to the argument, one thing is certain...
A listing agent’s duty and responsibility is to the seller to get the property SOLD! It is not up to the agent to decide who can view the property no more than who purchases the property. It is unethical and a grave disservice to clients to close the … (27 comments)

Is there something getting in the way of your business efforts; impeding the goals set forth? Change your point of view, look for options rather than accepting what is before you. The solution might just be one step away.
As I began to take photos of this gorgeous southern Utah sunset, I thought the tree was in the way but when I changed my stance, squatting to the ground, it became obvious that the tree is what makes this view successful, a true standout!

Happy 2012...May it be the best year ever!
Looking back on 2011 helps to push toward a successful 2012. Though many challenges came along both personally and professionally this year, the ability to resolve and move quickly along was key to maintaining the momentum to finish up the year strong!

Lucky to live, work and play in a place that offers year 'round mild weather and gorgeous blooms that tantalize the senses! I love pansies, peonies, petunias, roses, lilies, mums, gardenias, poppies, gladiolas, astors, tulips, morning glories, hollyhocks, sunflowers, honeysuckles, irises, lantana, lavender, oleanders, wisteria, vinca - each and every one of them.
I'm crazy for daisies too in southern Utah, especially when they're in bloom through November!

Northern Utah was hit with a winter storm that left several inches of snow and freezing temperatures while southern Utah will be enjoying another day of mild weather. One more good reason to consider the St. George area for your next vacation or your final destination!

Thanks to Art Around the Corner, the downtown St. George area has come alive with animals such as this realistic bronze sculpture, Silent Stalker by Brady Fairbanks. There are 23 works of art sporadically placed among the many gardens and sidewalks from 200 North Street to Tabernacle Street.
Be aware: You just may come face-to-face with a soaring eagle, frollicking pony, a puffed up prince or a stealthy cougar! Prepare to be delighted!

This is amazing news for the local southern Utah area!
