Showing a home in it's best light!
After seeing Anna Banana's post for the extended May Contest -Before & After by Dick Greenberg, it inspired me to find a photo taken of a home that might work for the purposes of the contest.
- BEFORE -
This photo was taken across the street of a client's newly built home. Many details were lost in darkness. I cropped it, bringing it closer to the front. I rotated it, adding some light and contrast to give more detail in the features and also removed the strange shadow on the one-car garage.

The office called me in yesterday.
And of course, I complied. That is the strong work ethic that guides my life!
When duty beckons, you will find me present and accounted fore. Also, to further clarify, it was the remote office at Dixie Red Hills Golf Course rather than the downtown St. George office on Main Street.
After working 6 days in a row, teeing it up on a pristine green sets the tone fore the upcoming week. Up to the minute planning, straightaway strategies, overcoming obstacles while moving forward is key.

Recently, the yard has come alive with bits of bright colors popping up sporadically here and there, everywhere. The Daffodils simply could not be ignored and reminded me of this short poem in honor of nature's sunshine!

Pay it Forward - Switchpoint in St. George, Utah
Several weeks ago I attended a luncheon upon the invitation of a friend. It was a fund raiser for a local homeless shelter called Switchpoint. More than $50,000.00 was raised that day.
During the event, a woman stood up and told her story. One that involved drug abuse, jail time, getting her children taken away and put in foster care, stark denial and then getting her life back on track.
Thanks to the valuable resources at Switchpoint, she received drug and alcohol counseling, got a job, found a place to live and her children were returned to her … (6 comments)

This is a question I get quite often from people looking to relocate here in southern Utah. Many think the seasons in the St. George area are the same as northern and central Utah. Not so. Palm trees are a common occurrence on city streets, in residential landscapes and on many of Washington County's 13 local golf courses.
