united states of america: Military members past and present are worth their weight in gold. - 06/12/13 12:29 AM
Military members past and present are worth their weight in gold, so why do so many people think that they are undeserving of good benefits?

A military career is not a 9 to 5 job. Personnel often work 12 to 16 hour days to accomplish their tasks in grueling weather or adverse conditions. They are taken away from their families to all areas of the world to teach, ensure peace or to act quickly to quash any threats to our country. The are unable to put in a 2 week notice and move on to another job. Their commitments are 3 to 5 years … (10 comments)

united states of america: Freedom isn’t free. - 04/11/13 11:02 PM

united states of america: Exceptional leaders deserve to be recognized. Happy Birthday Martin Luther King Jr.! - 01/21/13 01:50 AM

Exceptional leaders deserve to be recognized. Happy Birthday Martin Luther King Jr.!
We have been blessed as a nation to have great leadership and vision; to make decisions based on free thinking. Of course, it has come at a great price and sacrifice for some. Martin Luther King Jr. believed that all people are created equal and that cost him his life.
Today, we honor Mr. King by celebrating his birthday. I am thankful for his vision and determination to make positive change for our great nation.
Happy Birthday!
