We aren’t what we say. We are what we do. In other words, actions speak louder than words. Success in today’s work place means pursuing it by being top of mind and consistently putting yourself in front of business. Nothing compares to face-to-face interactions. Participating in online conversations will get you internet acknowledgment but getting out in the local community will get you real-time, people-to-people attention. The Canyons Softball Complex, located at 1890 W 2000 N St George, UT 84770 will host the National Junior College Softball Championship Tournament May 16-19, 2018.
Named "Softball Complex of the Year" for 5 consecutive years by the NSA (National Softball Association), the complex is made up of 9 fields and is able to host 100-team tournament play.
St. George has hosted the National Junior College Softball Championship Tournament for several years now at the Canyons Softball Complex. How exciting is that?! For details, go the the NJCAA tournament webpage.

Habitat for Humanity opportunity! There are hard working people in the community who are in need of good living conditions, who get up each day and go to work to support their families. They may lack the funds for a down payment and pay their rent on time-every time. Do you have a local family in mind who lives in your community and may be a good candidate for a new home? Thankful Thursdays: Sometimes you just have to say NO. Volunteering. Giving back. Paying your dues. Supporting an organization. Call it what you want but donating too much time toward causes / organizations can stress your business. Believe me, this is coming from someone who has had a problem saying NO in the past! Being asked and getting involved felt great, giving a great share of effort toward charities, the real estate industry, women's organizations, you name it, I was there! What an amazing turnout in southern Utah for American Cancer Society Relay for Life! As I walked aound the track, I began to take pictures of the Survivor Displays and ask questions. I was very humbled by the many stories told of loved ones who are survivors and touched by the families of people who had passed. Wow! This is one amazing experience that grabs the heart! Do you feel as if you're always on the go? Short of time? Racing from one meeting to another without time to spare? But have nothing to show for your efforts? That is how I have felt lately while contemplating my business plan. I value the time and service that I give to many organizations but I have not been able to keep up with the demands that I have placed upon myself.
