Adopt a Veteran for a Day of NFL Football!
As the day neared for my husband and I to travel to San Diego to catch the Chargers vs Broncos, at the last moment, our son was unable to go with us. That left an extra ticket that was already paid. We could have sold it prior to the game but we decided to go to 32nd Street Naval Base when we got to San Diego and find a young sailor to join us for a FUN day all expenses paid!

I love what I do in my professional life and my personal life. It may be challenging some days but oh so worth it! A wife of a retired Navy Chief and a mother to a son who is stationed in Italy and making strides to do something worthwhile in his life, another who is waiting for a job description and he will start the journey to places unknown.

Forgiving another means unburdening yourself of something you are not meant to carry.
This sets you free of another's callous, thoughtless actions. To no longer feel responsible for the decisions that drive others, their inner havoc or quick determinations.
Forgiving does not mean however, that we welcome dysfunctional behavior or evil back with open arms but instead, means moving on, possessing the freedom to look ahead.

I submitted an offer with a reasonable time for response. The deadline came and went, with several calls and texts to the agent representing the sellers. Each time I contacted him, he had a different excuse every single time.

Taking the time to do what Tux likes best. Stretching out in full body length, yawning just before turning once and then closing his eyes, purring loudly as he drifts quickly into sleep. Up again and repeat in 10 minutes!

Call someone who cares to answer the phone!
A potential buyer called on a listing next door to the one I have. She said it had been 2 days of calls to the agent, with no response. I told her that I would try to contact the agent and get a showing scheduled.
I quickly phoned her back after speaking with said agent and set up an appointment to view the home. During our various conversations and text messages, they wanted to see other homes in the area to see where their money would be well spent.

Lucky Troll Dolls, A Fish Called Wanda and B-I-N-G-O!
Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year and my husband still plays along with me. He is a good sport as this year he dressed up as a Troll Doll! I love getting creative and his costume is both colorful and FUN.

Some of my best friends do not speak English at all!
As a matter of fact, most communicate in their native languages. You see, my entire life has been spent with animals. I know a little Cowhili, Gerbilese, Catonese, Dogskrit, Rabbitian, Pigese, Frogulu, Lizardi and even Fowlish.
Ashley, our outdoor cat, is clearly speaking to me with her eyes. She is saying, "A little attention over here, please?!" to which I accommodate her with an all-over body rub.

Early VOTING in southern Utah.
My husband and I have received our ballots via the U.S. Postal Service. We have filled them out and they are ready to mail in order to be counted in this year's election. Voting, in my opinion, is a right that we have as Americans and our individual voices do count.
After the latest government shut down, I was feeling pretty bristly about whether I should send my ballot in and realized that my vote is still important. So I will send it but will definitely do some serious thinking about the next major election. For The … (2 comments)

The last day of the season and the mighty hunter is hunkered down in his favorite spot to await the arrival of his deepest desires. Darkness pervades the mountainside, saturating every available surface. Nothing to do but wait, nature will soon show her true colors in the form of a sunrise.

This morning while my husband is hunting in the great outdoors, I plan to take a drive to Mesquite, Nevada to visit my cousin Randolph E Graves on Panel W9, Line 130. He was a Helicopter Gunner in Vietnam who was shot down in Lang Dom Province in southern Vietnam in July of 1970, less than a year of his arrival there. He was just 21 years old and the only male to carry on the family name.

1. Whether the condo is FHA approved
2. The current financial situation of the HOA
3. Recent assessments that could affect the financial stability of the community
4. At least 10% of the annual budget must be placed in a condominium reserve account
5. The amount of rented vs owner occupied units
