The 12th annual Calvert County Farm Tour will be held on Sunday, October 18th, 2009 from 1-4p.m. at Spider Hall Farm, Prince Frederick, MD.
This 362 acre farm, purchased by current owners David and Susan Cox in December 2004, is one of the few remaining working farms of it's size in the county. The farm produces wheat, barley, corn, pumpkins, soybeans and tobacco. For the last three years, the farm has turned to agri-tourism with the addition of an 8-acre corn maze and hay rides every fall.
