I assist taxpayers in the Greater Lansing area and the rest of Michigan who have tax issues, and I have recently seen an increase in the number of people who have multiple years of back tax returns that were never filed. The IRS is going after non-filers with a new vengeange, and they now have the technology to identify 7 million taxpayers who have failed to file their returns.
