Is the combination of the housing market going up and the interest rates going up at the same time causing you some panic? Try to remain calm. Peer pressure from family and friends can be a powerful thing. Of course we are concerned with how other people view or percieve us and we have a desire to be liked, respected and somewhat admired. While wanting to be accepted and look good to others, it is probably harmless most of the time, but this tendency can get you into trouble when it comes to major purchases like that big beautiful home in Surprise, Arizona with the pool and BBQ island and all the amenties that you have always wanted! Wow, can you say "HOT Seller's Market" here in Arizona!!! Supply and demand can make the real estate market go crazy, and that is what is happening in Arizona. I have written so many offers for my own family members and haven't been able to get an accepted contract. We've have offered 5-7K over the list price and haven't secured a home yet!
