account deactivation: Testing out Active Rain's Rain Maker

In order for it to Rain Actively, you must be a Rain Maker? Did anyone else get approached by someone from Active rain trying to get you to buy into the "Rain Maker" for approx. $40/month? I was asked persistently about giving them my credit card information and she insisted that this was an essential piece to my Real Estate practice. I was confused at the time, heard about other agents using active rain so not knowing any better, I joined. What do you get with this price?
