On the 10th anniversary of her death it seems only fitting that we announce the students who have been chosen as the 2011 Angie Houtz Memorial Scholarship winners.
Each year I am in awe of the talented young people who apply for the scholarship.
This scholarship was started after Angie was killed on 9/11/2001 in the Pentagon.
Criteria for the scholarship include:
Attending (or planning to attend) a MD public university or college Minimum 3.0 GPA Exemplary record of community service Despite the tragic way we lost her, I know Angie would be proud of the many students that have been … (3 comments)
