life: I'm Going on Vacation!

It's that time of year. More people go on vacation during the summer than at any other time of the year. Where will you go?
I honestly can't tell you when I last had the opportunity to go on vacation. So I'm a little excited. It's always fun to go but always so nice to get back home, too. My own shower, my own bed, my own kitchen, no more living out of a suitcase. On this vacation, I won't be missing any of that. Why? Because I am taking a vacation in my own hometown! life: Life, Love, and Real Estate

I've been thinking about Life. . . Love. . . and Real Estate. This time 20 years ago, my husband and I were living in Sicily. I remember when he called to tell me we were moving there. I was thinking "woohoo! Tropical island paradise here I come!" Wow, was I in for a surprise. Their way of life was so vastly different. For starters, there were no shopping malls or fast food joints!
