Every morning I have a habit of stopping into my neighborhood Deli for a 20 oz. Green Tea and 2 Hard-Boiled Eggs.  The last few mornings, I have noticed that a gentleman always comes in around the same time as I, and yesterday we shared a discussion about the virtues of bi-focal contact lenses vs...

Yesterday, while driving to the train station (in lovely Greenlawn, Long Island) to 'deposit' my middle child, I passed by a local house that was originally an FSBO for many months.  I remember dropping off some Home Staging marketing material when the sign first went up, and I never DID hear fro...

Dear 'Vacant' Builder, This is an Open Letter to inform you that, contrary to what you may believe, a Home Stager cannot stage your Vacant House when given only 3-5 days to put it all together!  There is much involved in the process and I feel that it is my duty to inform you of all the work tha...

While staging today, and during one of my 3 trips back to my house to pick up some more things for the house, I had this thought.....I thought about how the realtor might not know that each of the 12 lamps that I had placed throughout the house had lightbulbs in place and should be turned on in o...

I have been staging, yet, another vacant for the last 2 days.  This one has been on the market for more than a year and the owners have since moved to a new location down south. The house was built in the late 1960's and has been updated.  It is part of an upscale beach community on the North Shor...
