It really sucks when you and a few of your other AR "buddies" are all jockeying in position for the same higher spot! Oh, you don't mean for this to happen - it just does and you feel awful about 'taking over' the "position". While staging a model home yesterday, I had a conversation with my rep from the rental company who had come out to the job site. She said, "Val, do you know who your competition is in your area?", to which I replied that I honestly didn't. I wouldn't know how to find out who they are or where they are located, and that, thankfully, I am too busy to care! Hey fellow AR members! I have to ask you something - does anyone else find, that as much as you love Active Rain, that often times the blogging and commenting are just too much? Today is Marci's 40th Birthday! Marci is our 'unofficial' Welcoming Committee here at AR and a Stager Extraordinaire! She has been welcoming the newest stagers to Active Rain for a few months now. I could not believe my eyes when I looked at the number of Stagers on the Home page tonight - we're 8 stagers away from hitting 400! We are growing in leaps and bounds and in so little time! When I became a member of Active Rain back in early September, I was somewhere around number 90; now 5 short months later there are 302 more Home Stagers than when I joined!
