Tacoma Buffalo Soldiers Museum Holds Open House
The Tacoma Buffalo Soldiers Museum will be holding a free Open House this Saturday, January 26th from Noon to 4 p.m.  This is one of only two museums in the country to record the work of the Buffalo Soldiers (the other is in Houston, TX).  During the open house, there will be guided tours through the afternoon. 
Buffalo Soldiers Never Lost a Battle
After being brought into existence by the Emancipation Proclamation of Abraham Lincoln, the Buffalo Soldiers were black regiments that served our nation from 1866 through World War II.

Tacoma's First Night comes again Tonight. 
For those who haven't already purchased their admission, price for those over 6 years is $14.00.  If you purchase online, you will get a paper ticket, that can be turned in at several participating locations to get the official First Night Button, which provides access to many events.
Several of the museums downtown are participating today, with free admission (for those with First Night buttons). In addition, there will be many arts related activities (dancing, music, art activities) to watch this evening.
