Silicon Valley Booming - Jobs, Jobs, Jobs, and a nice Location. Another argument for real estate being local is occurring in Silicon Valley. As Case-Shiller reported last month, 18 out of 20 major cities saw real estate values dropping. But in Palo Alto, California real estate is booming and prices are going up.
