Even before the ski area closes, many Steamboat Springs locals are preparing for the summer running season. Road or trail, full or half marathon, recreational or competitive, whatever your running preference the town has something for you. I guess its not that surprising when you think of how many outdoor and athletic oriented companies are based here - Big Agnes, Honey Stinger, Smartwool, PowerICE, and Point 6, just to name a few.
