Part of the flair of Ulster County, and especially of Marbletown, NY, are the small town locales and the quirky little places that make life around here so much fun. My office is on Route 209 just outside the town center of Stone Ridge. I'm there most of the day usually and sometimes into the evening hours. I live only 7 minutes away so I spend a lot of time around. There are some very nice places to go to in just minutes of time. Its easy to see what makes this area so beautiful and desirable. If I wouldn't own a house here already I would give anything to be here at least every weekend. Fortunately, this sight is what I can look at each day - lucky me. What is truly fascinating to me is that there are nicer areas. Vermont is amazing, the Hampton's, the Berkshires, parts of Connecticut are beautiful. But here, its almost as if you get it all.
