The saguaro cactus is the state flower of Arizona. Its flowers are cream and they open in the morning till about mid-afternoon. The saguaro (pronounced sowa:ro) can be seen everywhere - in the Sonoran desert wilderness, in our front yards, along higways. It can grow about 40 ft high.

Desert Botanical Garden is always relaxing, entertaining and educational.
We like to stroll there in every season and there is always something new that surprises us.
While walking in the Arizona Wild Flower section today, we learned that the reason we see so many humming birds on our patio is because there are so many around here.
There are 15 hummingbird species recorded. Some species stay year round, others come for the spring and summer.
The Wild flower section of the garden was all in bloom. My camera was very happy to meet many species and colors.

March in Phoenix AZ is warm and inviting eevrybody to enjoy the outside. I like to take photos of the creosote bush yellow blooms.
Chaparral is the creosote medical herb name - now when you see streets in the Phoenix area named Chaparral, you know.
Sunsets have all kinds of colors which many people in flip-flops and with cameras try to capture.
Everybody welcomes spring training and baseball fans from all states.
And when we go to the Phoenix Symphony, we still like to have our sports jerseys on. It's March.

I am always surprised how many home features can fit in 400 sq.ft. - today's visit to the SouthWest MicroLiving show at the Shemer Art Center was no different.
There were 12 micro housing and garden structures on display.
I was able to speak with the builders and artists and to learn more about how one can own a home like the exhibits.
The picture above is the first home I visited. The stairs felt so comfortable and inviting to test them - so I did. And took photos from above - of the living room, kitchen, bedroom.

Bank-owned homes are almost non-existent in Tempe zip code 85282 in 2017/2018.
Well, we found the only one, and my clients were lucky to be the winninig Buyers. As can be expected with homes in Tempe between $200,000-$250,000, it was a multiple offer situation.
132 W Fairmont drive is almost 1600 square feet three-bedroom, two-bathroom block construction home with about 10,000 square feet yard.
Purchase price was $247,000, financed with a conventional loan.
The home is biking distance from the owners' job location and they loved that they can maintain their current life-style of biking or walking to work.
