The median prices increased in October after declining in September, a good sign for both home sellers and buyers of the strength of the Oahu housing market. Sales have continued to slow, but at a lower rate than in the past few months. The median prices paid for Oahu properties in the first ten months of 2008 were $625,000 and $325,000 respectively, a decrease of 3.7 percent for single family homes from the same time period in 2007 and no change for condos.
